Drifting between alternative, rock, folk, gothic and ambient genres to create a unique blend that hints of a timeless nostalgia. Down Suite sweeps away at the soul, exploring the light and shadows spilled on the human experience.

EP1, released over 2023, is receiving a very hopeful response, with independent radio play in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, The Netherlands, Greece, Canada, United States, Australia and has been added to hundreds of playlists worldwide and some very noteworthy reviews, encouraging us to seek out our people and share what we find.

Down Suite is also the driving force in a multimedia musical theater production titled 'Tethers', deepening the musical story with a cast of actors, dancers, stunning visuals and sets. Tethers has run 24 shows in black box theatres, performing arts centers and auditoriums in western Canada, with growing interest and audience and a plan to tour the production in 2025.

NOW -Down Suite is excited and gaining momentum with the release of EP2 in spring 2024 and demo's ready for the next full studio album in fall 2024! An increasing audience for the live experience - Down Suite is just getting started!
